2012 marks the fifth consecutive year that TeamSmile returns to Las Vegas to provide their services to local children. In 2011, the Tournament partnered with TeamSmile and United Healthcare to provide underserved children with much needed dental care at the TeamSmile Dental Clinic.
$242,000 in dental services were delivered to more than 225 underserved children from Las Vegas. More than 70 volunteers from UnitedHealthcare were on hand to provide lunch, snacks and activities, along with support from the Children's Fitness Foundation and Southern Nevada Burn Foundation.
The program has taken place in all four years of the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, providing much needed care to over 500 local children, worth in excess of $500,000.
Participants of the Pro-Am will enjoy the unique opportunity to play a round of golf inside the ropes of an official PGA TOUR tournament course alongside a professional PGA TOUR player. The tournament will start at 1 p.m. after Hoffman provides a clinic, divulging the secrets of his great golf game.
